Abstract

This essay is a tour through the psychogenetic, socio-historical and
cognitive perspectives, starting from the designations and conceptions
of learning in each of them, within the framework of the central notions
in which they are based. This way, tensions and dilemmas are developed in connection to the learning processes within each approach, recovering the research conducted within the framework of each of them. Finally, the conflicts and oppositions of the approaches with each other are presented, which constitute the focal point of the text, starting from the axis of the current theoretical discussions when it comes to understand learning processes, maintining the possibility of
interaction, dialogue, and even convergence between existing traditions.
