Abstract

The report "The Impact of Student Mobility on the Employment of UNQ Graduates: 2006-2023" examines how international exchange programs have influenced job opportunities for graduates of the Universidad Nacional de Quilmes (UNQ). Using a qualitative approach, alumni surveys reveal that student mobility is critical for developing skills like intercultural communication, adaptability, and teamwork. Although not all participants saw an immediate impact, many noted that international experiences offered a competitive edge, opening new opportunities in Argentina and abroad.

The study also explores if exchanges influenced professional skills development and whether an international experience was key in the job search and access. The report highlights the importance of internationalization in enhancing employability, contributing insights on how student mobility impacts UNQ graduates' professional growth. It emphasizes the need to align mobility experiences with academic and professional goals to maximize their positive effect on graduates' career development.
