Abstract




In this paper we present some of the iinitial stage progress of implementation of the research project, oriented to the study of teachers' knowledge about sports teaching practices in physical education in secondary schools in San Carlos de Bariloche. With this research we intend to investigate the teaching knowledge, with the purpose of analyzing the relationships between body and politics in such teaching. The field work carried out so far by the research team was oriented to the analysis of the curricular design for Rio Negro Secondary Schools, based on three relevant conceptual categories of the project; sports knowledge to teach, body and citizenship. Among these categories, and as an advance, we present some thoughts about the conception of the body exposed in the foundations of the area of Physical Education and the conception of the subject developed in the theoretical framework of that document.
