Internacionalización de la Educación Superior en Artes. El Programa INNOVART en el Marco de la Cooperación Franco-Argentina

Abstract

Internationalization of higher education in Argentina has shown a sharp growth in the last 20 years, contributing to the development of new agendas and modalities in the management of universities. In this scenario, cooperation between French and Argentinian universities emerged as one of the more mature and broader relations, carried out trough state, bilateral and multilateral programmes. Nevertheless, cooperation among Higher Education Institutions in the field of arts remained underdeveloped until the development and implementation of INNOVART programme. In this manner, this paper aims at analyzing the process of development and implementation of this new public policy in the field of internationalization of higher education, its challenges and expected outcomes both in the institutional management and the internationalization of higher education in arts.
