Abstract

This article analyzes the governmental practices in the National Territory of Misiones. In a context characterized by a lack of autonomy and constraints on citizen participation, it describes and
interprets the relationship between rulers and ruled. The objective is to comprehend State’s actions in this territory as practices that control and regulate the every day life and the political, social and economic activities of its inhabitants. These practices manifest, in many cases, internal contradictions during the consolidation of the argentine National State.
