Abstract

Several authors have held recently that the paths of the provincial unions before the emergency of the Peronism have been scantily explored, and that a national look of the above mentioned
experience would contribute to complicate the above mentioned object of study. Bearing this affirmation in mind, in this article we propose to analyze the internal conflicts in the Comodoro
Rivadavia petroleum unionism during the period of the Military Government called (1944-1955). The above mentioned stage coincided with the emergency of the Peronism, which generated two
antagonistic sectors to the interior of the Union of Workers and Employees of YPF. From the analysis of sources from files of labor leaders, police reports and it presses in general, our work tries to
provide other arguments with regard to the dissolution of the sector "autonomist" of the union. From our perspective, the same one it would make clear from some elements that they constitute
the populist speech: the presentation of a hurt, the appearance of a new political subject, the partition of the community life in two and the irreducibility of the above mentioned partition.
