The learning processes developed in schools are sustained by relationships with others that are always unique. The connection between students, teachers, and knowledge posses its singularity which is not only complex and dynamic but also conditioned by affections, emotions, and unconscious desires. In this context the article explores the educational bond characteristics
through the concept of transference, as introduced by the psychoanalytic approach to education. It tends to identify the possibilities and risks involved in managing transference at educators’ work, giving recommendations to address ethicaly the effects of what is happening in the classroom.
