Abstract

Psychoanalysis and literature are part of culture and mutually influence, even determine, each other. The multiple interests of psychoanalysis have been gaining ground, and we can say that its conceptual framework has existed for over a hundred years, a framework for interpreting diverse phenomena that occur in society and culture, and that its clinical practice has been
expanding in both intensity and scope. This time, we will focus on the murder of children at the hands of those tasked with caring for them. We will read ways of killing a child, both within and beyond the story. Betina González's text will be of assistance. Considerations about filicide from classic texts such as that of the Argentine psychoanalyst Arnaldo Rascovsky will highlight the universality of the terrifying evil that afflicts our children.
