La gallina de los huevos de oro. El avance del turismo en los parajes rurales del noreste de San Luis, Argentina.

Resumen

Los parajes rurales del Valle del Conlara pertenecientes a la Provincia de San Luis, Argentina, pueden considerarse en relativo aislamiento en términos de inclusión a las matrices productivas hegemónicas ligadas al agronegocio y al desarrollo inmobiliario, éste último, fuertemente vinculado a la actividad turística con centro en la Villa de Merlo. Sin embargo, dicho territorio comienza a ser de interés para el turismo, aún incipiente, pero con perspectivas a incrementarse
influenciado por la ya consolidada actividad hacia las Sierras de los Comechingones, en vistas de proporcionar experiencias ligadas a la naturaleza
y la vida rural. La universidad pública y otros entes del estado como la secretaría de agricultura familiar, campesina e indígena; se presentan como actores necesarios en la mesa de discusión turística con el fin de verse debidamente representados los intereses de los productores locales.

Abstract: The goose of golden eggs. Tourism progress at San Luis northeast country places The rural areas of Valle del Conlara belonging to the Province of San Luis, Argentina, can be considered relatively isolated in terms of inclusion to the hegemonic productive matrices linked to agribusiness and real estate development, the latter strongly linked to tourism activity centered on Villa de Merlo. Currently, this territory is becoming of interest to tourism, still incipient, but expected to increase influenced by the expansion of the already consolidated activity along the provincial route N1 towards the Sierras de los Comechingones, in order to provide experiences linked to nature and rural life. In the article herein, a diagnosis is made on the current status of Tourism activity in 6 localities of Valle del Conlara. There is a need to discuss alternatives linked to rural community tourism that serve to diversify regional economies and contribute to the recognition and revaluation of local culture, and as a counterweight to the dominant developmental model.
