Abstract

From an ethnographic approach in progress, this paper gets the rhetoric and practices of two social organizations located in the city of Tandil (Province of Buenos Aires) to account for the
constructions and boundaries that make about the use and management of urban space and Serrano Tandilia System. In this sense, the transformations related to land management produced in the last decade to highlight how diverse social actors resist implemented public policies. These resistors, as alternative forms of appropriation and reinterpretation, conflicted with the dominant sectors the
directionality of the decisions that concern the use of the territories, as well as how to design the current and future development of the city.
