This interview with the renowned psychoanalyst Alicia Hartmann took place in occasion of the V Workshop of Psycho-pedagogy of Comahue: “Learning in infancies, adolescences and young people. Practices, interventions and productions of knowledge” on May 2017, in the city of Viedma, Río Negro. At Atlantic Zone Universitary Center (CURZA), after finishing her lecture, we met Dr. Hartmann to discuss some aspects of her presentation entitled “The matter is the Thing ́s word. Reflections on the ethics of Psychoanalysis in children and adolescents”. The interview ́s methodology consisted on an interviewer who made questions and addressed the process and a group of professionals and researchers interested on the topic that eventually made questions or comments to Dr. Hartmann, who kindly accepted the interchange.
Dr. Hartmann was narrating vignettes of her wide clinical experience linking them with a precise conceptual articulation, recommending the reading of a number of key authors and writings about the topic she was talking about and placing the emphasis on the present
clinics with children and adolescents.
