Resumen

El ensayo discute un marco conceptual del turismo sénior (TS) y los conocimientos teóricos existentes, buscando una definición inteligible. El contenido incluye un análisis teórico y una reflexión que invita a definir un concepto desde el ámbito de comportamiento y características de la actual generación de turistas sénior, destacando cómo la actividad se relaciona con el turismo sostenible y de bienestar frente a la emergencia sanitaria de la actual pandemia.
