Sentido y función del vocabulario metafísico en La Política de Aristóteles

Abstract

Aristotle analyses politics with a set of theoretical principles meant to
fashion political phenomena from a conceptual point of view. The aim of
this paper is to consider the sense and function of these principles in the political text. We shall take as textual basis the opening definitions of the city-State in Pol. I 1-2 in order to shed light on the scientific performance of technical analytic tools such as “nature”, “end”, “unity”, “matter/form” and “whole/parts”.
