Abstract

This paper is based on the phenomenology of corporeality carried out by Merleau-Ponty, and it focuses the analysis on the dimensions of visibility and invisibility emerging from the notion of Lived body (Leib) as it is understood by the French author. From this perspective, there will be examined the experiences of being-for-itself and being-for- others, and the concept of flesh (chair) in connection with the visible and the touchable.
