The problem civilization and barbarism in the thought of Leon Rozitchner

Abstract

The hypothesis of the article is the following: it is possible to read Leon  Rozitchner's thought as a philosophical reformulation of the formula sarmientina civilization and barbarism in the terms of its own categorial system, that is: terror and subjectivity. In order to demonstrate such a starting point we will undertake three tasks. First, we will justify the
inclusion of the controversial sarmientina in the bosom of the rozitchneriana work. Then we will reconstruct Rozitchner's conceptual apparatus to try to demonstrate our interpretation. And finally, we will account for the general guidelines by which Rozitchner conceives of political resistance.
