El nuevo realismo de Maurizio Ferraris y Markus Gabriel: un análisis crítico

Abstract

This article examines the tension between ontology and epistemology
within the philosophical position described by Ferraris as New Realism,
which tries to go beyond the correlation between reality and human
thought. Firstly, an analysis of Ferraris’ position is made, a position
which tries to overcome postmodern relativist, dividing ontology from
epistemology, and going back to experience. Secondly, the almost
contrary position of Markus Gabriel is examined, which posits different
fields of sense and not only the scientificist reductionist naturalist one
