A partir de este título se suceden una serie de artículos referidos a la actividad petrolera y sus efectos socioterritoriales en el area nordpatagónica, con especial énfasis en el análisis de los centros urbanos vinculados con aquella actividad económica.
Las reflexiones y conclusiones que se vuelcan son producto del proyecto de investigación titulado “Evaluación crítica del proceso de transformación en ciudades petroleras”, que un grupo de investigadores del Departamento de Geografía de la Universidad Nacional del Comahue desarroló e los últimos años.
