The author presents us with a precise and exhaustive work on the concepts of sacrifice, jouissance, desire, guilt, death drive, law, names of the father. She locates how the subject, in an attempt to restore the flaws of the father's names, commits his jouissance to sacrifice, in a position where, without being guilty, he is compelled to purge family crimes. With the variations typical of hysteria and obsession, victimization and guilt, respectively, the investigation leads us to the thesis that in sacrifice there is a connection between enjoyment and the death drive. This link between the son and the father in the sacrifice finds a correlation with the link of the mass with the leader.
