All submitted works must be original. They must not have been previously published in any print or digital format.

Submissions for publication may include:

• Public Documents

• Essays

• Book Reviews

• Research Papers

• Theoretical Review Papers

• Conference Papers / Presentations

• Artistic Productions / Literary Texts

Copyright

Once an article is accepted for publication, the author(s) transfer the copyright to the journal's publisher.

In any case, the Editorial Team understands that the opinions expressed by the authors are their sole responsibility.

General Submission Format

• Language: All papers must be submitted in Spanish.

• Submission Method: Works must be sent exclusively by email to the following address: contacto@psicohormiguero.com.ar

• Length: Submissions must not exceed 30,000 characters under any circumstances, including bibliographic references.

Formatting and Style Guidelines (in the following order):

• Title of the paper: It must be left-aligned, in sentence case (capitalize only the first letter of the first word), and without bold or italics.

• Affiliation (Institution to which the author belongs).

• Email address of the corresponding author.

• Mailing address (personal or institutional).

• If applicable, acknowledgments to individuals or funding institutions supporting the research.

• Title of the paper.

• Abstract (not exceeding 200 words).

• Keywords: Maximum of 5 keywords, separated by semicolons.

• Title of the paper in English.

• Abstract in English (must not exceed 200 words).

• Keywords (in English).

• Brief curriculum vitae (bio) of the author(s), not exceeding 200 words.

Within the Text:

• Margins: Leave uniform margins of at least one inch (2.54 cm) at the top, bottom, left, and right of each page.

• Font Type and Size: Preferably, use Times New Roman, 12-point font.

• Spacing: Double spacing must be used throughout the entire document.

• Direct Quotations: The style proposed by the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (2006) must be followed. In all cases, quotations will be in regular text (not italics), and the author's last name, publication year, and page number(s) must be indicated in parentheses.

  • Under 40 words: Enclose the quotation in quotation marks within the regular text format.

  • Over 40 words: Display the quotation as a block without quotation marks, indented 5 spaces (1.3 cm) from both the left and right margins.

• Works by two authors: Cite both names (followed by the publication year) every time the work is referenced in the text.

• Works by three, four, or five authors: Cite all authors the first time the reference appears in the text. In subsequent citations, include only the last name of the first author followed by "et al." (from Latin et alii, "and others," ununderlined) and the year.

• Works by six or more authors: Cite only the first author followed by "et al." the first time it is referenced, but list all authors in the References section.

• Multiple citations: If two or more different works are cited consecutively within the same parentheses, list the last names and respective publication years separated by a semicolon, ordered alphabetically by author.

• Footnotes: Footnotes should be kept to a minimum. Use superscript numbers in the text to indicate a reference to a specific footnote.

• References: All bibliographic references must be cited within the text (never as footnotes) and listed alphabetically at the end, under the heading "Referencias" (do not use "Referencias bibliográficas"). All citations must comply with the guidelines of the American Psychological Association (APA) Publication Manual (6th ed., Washington, 2006). Authors' last names must be in lowercase (except for the capitalized first letter).

• Review Method: The Internal Scientific Committee and the Journal Editorial Board will evaluate the submissions.

• Review Outcomes: The outcome of the evaluation process may be:

  1. Acceptance of the article

  2. Rejection

  3. Acceptance conditional upon revisions

  Authors will be notified of any of these outcomes via email.
