Abstract

In this introduction, Pablo Molina Ahumada and Pablo Manuel Requena, editors-in-charge of the Dossier "«The secret of the great transformations». 100 years of the University Reform: actors, legacies and resonances", propose some axes and considerations to reread the University Reform of 1918 from the present time. They highlight the controversy of that process as well as the political and symbolic power of its ideology, which is expressed in the fact that it continues to raise, even 100 years later, new questions, interpretations and challenges to reflect on the social and political processes of our present. This idea, which tries to be succinctly captured in the considerations that put the Reform process in perspective, is manifested in the themes and hypotheses presented by the articles put together in the Dossier. The overall objective is to highlight the way in which the actions and ideology of the events at the National University of Córdoba in 1918 continue to generate knowledge and to pose new challenges.

Keywords: University Reform, Córdoba University, commemoration
ER -
